What is the Give & Grab?
The Give & Grab is an initiative to collect unwanted gently used baseball equipment (Give Day). Those items available for kids playing in the Spring Great Valley Little League season (Grab Day). The initiative helps families eliminate the accumulation of outgrown and unwanted baseball items. It also helps provide a way for other families to ‘grab’ items for the season and help offset equipment needs of growing kids.
When and where are the Give Days?
“Give” day will take place at the King Road complex - Field Day on March 10th. Look for me by the flagpole in the parking lot from 8:30-10 AM. – weather permitting.
What if I cannot make either Give Day time?

Are my donations tax deductible?
A written thank you for any donations will be provided. It is your responsibility to determine value and how to use for any potential taxable donation for 2018.
What types of equipment will be accepted?
All gently used baseball equipment will be accepted: gloves, batting gloves, helmets, cleats, uniform pants, bats, catching equipment, etc. The only thing not permitted are sliding pants or protective cups/athletic supporters.
How will I know what types of items will be available at the Grab Day event?
Prior to March 25th, an overview of items that will be available. This should be posted on the GVLL website. You may also contact the coordinator.
When is the Grab Day happening?
Once donated items are inventoried, a list will be available for review. A time to “grab” can be coordinated.
Do items need to be purchased during the Grab Day?
No. Items will not be for sale during the event. A donation jar will be there for anyone who wishes to donate. Any money collected on this day will go toward the 2018 BAT-A-Thon.
What happens to the items not picked up during the Grab Day?
These items will be taken to a used equipment store. Any money obtained for trade in will go toward the 2018 BAT-A-Thon.
