Little League International has adopted the USA Baseball bat standards that will be effective January 1, 2018 for Little League Baseball.
There are a few key points you should be aware of:
- All bats must be marked with the USA Baseball logo.
- Previously approved bats used in 2017 can no longer be used.
- Maximum barrel diameter cannot exceed 2 5/8".
- Does not apply to Softball bat standards.
- New standard does not affect Senior level play (15 & 16 year old).
