The skills assessment is conducted in order for our Managers to be able to equally balance teams as the players move into the next level of baseball. Those the need to attend, will receive an email.
If your player meets any of the below criteria, they are to attend a skills evaluation being held Saturday February 11th at Grand Slam in Malvern, PA.
- An eight (8) or nine (9) year old Little League baseball player (born between September 1, 2013 and August 31, 2015) and registered to play in the American Division.
OR
- Has NOT played GVLL baseball in the past and is older than nine (9) years old as of August 31, 2022 (Little League Ages 10, 11, or 12).
To aid us in efficiently evaluating players and to space out the number of people in the facility at one time, we are utilizing specific time slots between 8:00 am - 12:00 pm on Saturday February 11th.
- Those with a last name that begins with A through F - 8:00 am
- Those with a last name that begins with G through N - 9:00 am
- Those with a last name that begins with O through Z - 10:00 am
- There will also be an 11:00 am timeslot for those that cannot make their assigned time.
It is important for the integrity and fairness of our program that all players who meet the criteria above get evaluated. If for some reason you cannot make any of the available times, please reach out to our Player Agent Matt Sweeney.
Players should bring a glove, helmet and bat (if they own them), otherwise helmets and bats can be provided. No cleats, please wear sneakers.
