As information continues to become available regarding the increasing spread of coronavirus (COVID-19), we wanted to provide our league's families with additional guidance on the implementation of the Little League® program in our local community.  As indicated, this situation is extremely dynamic and we will provide updates as quickly as possible as we learn more about the impacts of the pandemic.

Little League International has recommended that all leagues exercise an abundance of caution and implement a temporary suspension of all league activities until no earlier than April 6.

GVLL will fully adopt and implement this temporary suspension of ALL league activities through, at minimum, April 6 and will fully follow and implement all  guidance provided by our District 27 Administrator as well as GVSD and WCASD. 

This will include postponement of our King Road, BOC & East Goshen Township Park Field Day,  Junior Umpire Clinic and all GVLL events scheduled for this weekend. 

We will have more information regarding rescheduling our Positive Coaching Alliance training and Manager/Coaches Safety training over the next several days.

Little League International and PA District 27 is communicating with our league on a consistent basis, providing additional information and best practices to work through the coronavirus pandemic. Please look for LLI official communication via email, on the website (LittleLeague.org/coronavirus), and on social media (@LittleLeague).

We will continue to work with ALL School Districts and Health Professionals as we closely monitor the situation.  GVLL will follow the guidelines set by the World Health Organization, Centers for Disease Control and Prevention (CDC), State of PA public health department, Chester County and/or local authorities including precedents set by area school districts and government agencies.

Also please note that ALL official GVLL activities and practices are only permitted to occur at our King Road complex, GVSD and WCASD facilities, East Goshen Township Park and East Whiteland Township fields. GVLL practices and activities are not permitted to be held at any private or other area sports facility. GVLL is only insured and authorized by Little League International for these defined area school districts, local townships and our King Road facility.
