Coronavirus (COVID-19) Update

GVLL Families,

The COVID-19 (coronavirus) pandemic is rapidly changing the way that we, as a community think, act, gather, learn, and live our daily lives.  And, yes, that also means how we play Little League.
With the most recent guidance from the Centers for Disease Control and Prevention (CDC), the Little League International (LLI)  Board of Directors is now advising all its local Little League programs to delay their Little League seasons through no earlier than Monday, May 11.

As previously indicated, GVLL will strictly follow ALL CDC, LLI, GVSD, WCASD and Chester County Dept of Health recommendations.
GVLL has suspended ALL Little League activities through May 11.

Please note that ALL official GVLL activities and practices are only permitted to occur at our King Road complex, GVSD and WCASD facilities, East Goshen Township Park and East Whiteland Township fields. GVLL practices and activities are not permitted to be held at any private or other area sports facility. GVLL is only insured and authorized by Little League International for these defined area school districts, local townships and our King Road facility.
We recognize that this is the heart of the traditional Little League season, and we share in the great disappointment that many are feeling surrounding this additional pause in the 2020 season. However, it is our hope that by doing this, we will all play a small, but important part in flattening the curve in the spread of the coronavirus pandemic.
It is our sincere hope that we can find ways to bring everyone back to our Little League fields this season, whether that’s later this spring or throughout the summer.

Thank you all for your support and understanding.  Please know that the GVLL Board of Directors is thinking of all our Little League families and our entire community's well-being during this difficult time.

Please contact us with any questions you may have.

Sincerely,
