COVID-19 Update

First and foremost, the GVLL Board of Directors hope that you and all family members are safe and healthy during this uniquely uncertain time that we are confronted with as a community.

GVLL and all Little Leagues not only here in the State of Pennsylvania, but across the United States and globally, have been asked to remain patient as much has yet to be determined moving forward.  Little League as an organization will provide the entire Little League community members such as District Administrators, parents, players, managers, coaches, umpires and volunteers with as much insight and education pertaining to our program, the 2020 season and as a whole, all of it combined moving forward.

As previously announced, Little League International (LLI) has set a temporary suspension date of all local Little League activities throughout the country until May 11th.  As this date approaches, LLI will continue to get the best advice and guidance from the CDC, WHO and the many medical professionals that we currently rely upon in guidance for our program.  As May 11th approaches, we will certainly provide all local leagues in advance of our plans moving forward.  If you need specific updates at this time, please visit https://www.littleleague.org/player-safety/coronavirus-update/

Plans are already being modeled by the LLI staff such as extending the regular season throughout the year, tournament options that may be available, Special Games opportunities within the districts/states, and much more.  LLI will provide local leagues with the best guidance in the next several weeks.

Again, GVLL will strictly follow guidance from the CDC, State of PA Dept of Health, Chester County Health Department, GVSD & WCASD.  LLI is reviewing any and all options available for our community of children and volunteers to participate.

Thank you all for your support and understanding.  Please know that the GVLL Board of Directors is thinking of all our Little League families and our entire community's well-being during this difficult time.

Please contact us with any questions you may have.

Sincerely,
